Recently, the 2023 Jiangsu Province Telematics and Intelligent Networked Automobile Industry Innovation and Development Conference was held in Nanjing. The driverless container truck independently developed by Guotang Automotive is equipped with multi-layer redundant ultra-distance sensing system, flexible interactive decision-making and high-level trajectory planning capability, multi-axis independent control and redundancy design, and unique eight-wheel steering, bidirectional driving, diagonal lane changing and other functions to make it more flexible, which can effectively increase the operation time and improve the operation efficiency compared with manual transportation. In addition, by virtue of the advantages of flexible and safe traveling and no need for infrastructure renovation, it is not only suitable for new automated terminals, but also can be widely used in the automation upgrading and transformation of traditional terminals. At present, it has completed large-scale landing operation in Tianjin Port, Zhoushan Port, Weifang Port, Yangluo Port, Hefei Port, Nantong Port, Taicang Port and other important domestic ports and terminal scenes.
